Improving the reconstruction of dental occlusion using a reconstructed-based identical matrix point technique

Abstract Digital dental models are widely used compared to impressions or plaster-dental for occlusal analysis as well fabrication of prosthodontic and orthodontic appliances. The digital model has been considered one the significant measures occlusion. However, process requires more computation time with less accuracy during re-establishment In this research, a modern method re-establish occlusion designed using Reconstructed-based Identical Matrix Point (RIMP) technique. curvature regions reconstructed distance mapping in order minimize time, an iterative point matching approach is accurate re-establishment. Satisfactory restoration tests have analyzed experimental setup high-quality camera images. Further, images converted grayscale mathematical MATLAB image processing toolbox. Besides, 70 taken into consideration which 30 planar view utilized analysis. Indeed, based on outcomes, proposed RIMP outperforms overall (91.50%) efficiency (87.50%) comparison conventional methods such GLCM, PCR, Fuzzy C Means, OPOS, OGS.
